Does anyone know how to make the burning timbers like the ones in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride a Disneyland? I know they use foil, but I can't figure out how to make them look like they're glowing.

I believe they have a hidden red light reflecting onto the foil. Some of the foil is rigged to rotate. Again, that's just my thought from going on the ride.

They also appear to have some sort of thin plastic sheeting (seran wrap?) behind it with red and yellow lights on it and the plastic wrap is being blown by a fan to make it move and reflect the lights back in varying patterns. From what I remember.
