Last year, I brought one of those halloween butcher scenes. It was 8 feet high and 16 feet wide. We attached it to four sheets of plywood. After the season, most of the scene tore since it is a thin sheet of plastic. I thought about buying plexiglass and attaching it over the scene to the plywood. Is there a better or cheaper way to protect the scenery to store it for many uses??

Plexi glass will set you back quite a bit of money for that size, not to mention the glare, which could be problematic. You can try to carefully remove it and fold or roll it up for safe keeping. Other than that, consider it disposable. Try and grab scene setters on sale when you can.

We use scene setters and my girlfriend does a fantastic job of just SLOWLY taking a razor blade and cutting the tape off the wall ( or whatever you tape it to). Then we just fold it up, and put it away. We have like a butcher chop shop liek one for our kitchen.
