Here is my hack for the pinlights everyone bought from Jack's Tool Shed. I decided to run it with continuous power because where I'm handing it, entry, it is way too tall for me to climb up a ladder every night. So I took three pinlights and wired them in series to a 9v transformer. I've run these three LED's for numerous hours and have had no problems with over powering them. I used the LED current calculator that Jaybo provided here http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz
I didn't use any resistors because it was so minimal that I didn't need to worry about it but do a calculation so you don't burn out your LED's. A little soldering and wiring and voila no batteries anymore. Let me know if you have any questions.
Enjoy!

So, I found a bunch of these lights for 49 cents and had no idea what to do with them. We bought a few for our haunt last year but, the darn little buggers' batteries kept dying. Good idea. I'll put that on my honey do list.
