Everything I've made this year was with the instruction and ideas provided by the folks on this forum, and to you I say thank you.

Even though I have not graduated past reindeer motors, I'm happy with the things I have accomplished. My final prop of this year was a project I found on Monsterlist. Creepy guy:

The droning sound in the background is my neighbor's air conditioner.....

Here he is naked, (not my neighbor)

His hands are made of great stuff which I shaped on top of a trash bag with a lump where I wanted the fingers to curve. I will tape to the sides of the frame. I found camo burlap at Academy which will cover the black plastic cement mixing pan which will cover the works and keep anything from jamming up the frame.

Again, thank you all for your willingness to share ideas and plans to folks like me, who last year would never have even attempted to motorized anything. You are all great.

That's great! I love that it looks like he's watching TOT's go by like "hmmm...which one looks weak and tasty?" Congrats on your first motorized prop. I am in the "not quite there yet" phase myself, but this forum is amazing for ideas and willingness to help :-)

I was looking into that, did you use metel for like the "braces" which connect to the motor and the amr and head? I didn't have anything like that, and wasn't sure If I could just buy those small piece of have to get them cut. Thanks. Looks fantastic as well.
