Decided to build a Jack in the box this year to use in our haunted house. This is my first attempt at a pneumatic prop. I had the frame built and the pop-up mechanism built, but need to come up with the out side. After searching the forums here, I came across Batfly's "Evil Jack in the Box", I really liked his paint scheme, so I decided to paint mine similar to his. It's not totally done yet, still have to add the music and a couple other small details, but I pretty happy with how it turned out.

That looks pretty cool, FireAsh. And the paint scheme is perfect. Love to see it all finished.

I really like this prop. It has just the right "bounce" after the character pops out. I give you two big thumbs up on an great pneumatic. It will look perfect once you outfit it. Keep on going you are almost there.

I have to admit, your design was very, very cool. Hope you don't mind that I used it also. As far as the lid, I found this skull/jester design that I thought looked decent.
