Anyone know where to get an affordable old-style looking lantern? I've looed everywhere - they are all halloweeny (die-cut pictures in the sides, orange glass, etc).
I'm looking for some old style looking lanterns I can litter about my grave... err... FRONT yard...
And not the hurricane type... the boxy type with a door, that we can put led tealights or real candles in.
I cant find anything thats not a real antique and crazy expensive.

I saw some at a store called Savers just yesterday. They were like $5 each. Savers is one of the stores that sells people second-hand stuff. If you have one in your area, or something like it (Salvation Army Store, Goodwill).

I found these on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/Two-COLONIAL-Civ...ht_7929wt_1051
Just do a search for "candle lantern". I found a similar one that was purchased at Illuminations we had lying around and I aged it and frosted the glass. I run an LED tea light that I got a 12 pack from at Amazon and I think it looks pretty good.
Heres a couple of images:

I agree on second hand shops. I saw some great looking ones at Goodwill stores.
