I bought her this year, I like her. I haven't put any water in the cauldron to test the misting, but everything else works. I like the movement. I picked mine up from Walmart.

Over $100 less than the same witch being sold on the Grandin Road site.

Yes. Cauldron broke after ONE use. The rest still works though...

Oooh, there's another thread about her somewhere. I think it was also Lowes who was selling her for way less and people were talking about if they liked her or not.

It's a great animatronic when it works. I have had two for about 3 or 4 years now. Every Halloween they require a lot of retooling. I've had leaky cauldrons and head issues.

However... they have been relatively easy to repair and they are great entry level animatronic. It just sucks that there seems to be such poor quality control in their manufacturing.

Red Hallows is right though - there are several threads about this product.

I've got it and it hasn't been a problem. Walmart's verison doesn't come with a microphone like some versions do. I got mine from there also.

I bought her for 129 and thought THAT was a good price. I've had her for a couple years and she hasn't been a problem. I hope you enjoy her!!

Bought mine a couple of years ago for $99.00 at a Shoppers drug mart (Canada). Haven't had any issues but I only do my display on Halloween so it isn't running for days on end. Like a lot of the Gemmy products, the animatronics is decent but the clothing is cheap. I always redress my Gemmys
so they fit into my decor scheme and add accessories to them to look more unique.

I really enjoy this prop and am glad I never passed on it because everything has a shelf life - when you really want it, it's gone. My Gemmy "Dr Shivers" is dressed up as a mortician. It's funny how many people say "I've never seen that character" because they don't recognize him. I even use his container of green chemical solution but have labeled it "embalming fluid". With the top hat, Long overcoat, eye glasses and some teeth, he looks ever the proper morbid mortician.
