Hey everyone, I thought since I am getting back into prop making this year (started way late) but I wanted to show you some props I am working on right now and see what you think about them or what might make them even better!
Here is my ghost, still in progress:
Here is the start of my pillars (these may look familiar from Effie's tut but I am doing a few things a bit different on them). Once they are finished you will be able to see what I did differently.
Here is my corpse in progress. I got to almost half of it last night and I will do the other half soon enough.
To see what this will turn into here is an old picture from 2007 of the other one I did that I do not have anymore.
HERE IS WHAT MY OLD CORPSE LOOKS LIKE:
What do you think of them? Have any questions be sure to ask and I will answer as best as possible. Most of my props I try to keep under $30 and before I started the pillars, I have been able to achieve that with great success with props in my past.

where did you find those tubes for your pillars?

They are from Home Depot or Lowe's. They are called sonotubing but a better name that people will recognize would be "Concrete forming tubes", for pillars. They literally are used to form concrete pillars, they are cardboard, really light and easy to work with.
I might do a tut on them and the rest of the props in the next week when I am able to take some time to write them up and upload pictures.

The Skeleton was $20 with a coupon. I will do a tut on the corpsing process if you would like. Its wood glue, tissue (from walmart, like 97 cent), then dark wood stainer to finish it off.
The pillar idea came from Skeletal sonotube columns which is Effie's tut on them. I am doing a square base built up kinda to look as a Roman column type thing.
Here is an update on them with the blat flat mat primer spray paint.
