Well after another year flying by I have redesigned my laser vortexes/vortexi? Went through a couple design changes through the years and this one turned out perfect. Not thinking of changing it again. It's about 6 inches long and 4 inch high. You can place this thing anywhere. I hardwired all the eletronics so no need for batteries.

While I did test a few colors(see vid) the green is by far the better choice. Produces about the same size circle as the distance away from the projected surface. Example 10 feet away, 10 foot circle

Tested out a red laser and it doesn't even compare to the green. Seems green is the brightest of them all. Other then green, blue, and red I do not believe pen lasers come in any other color. I could be wrong though.

Going to attempt a double laser on a wiper motor to see the results. Could look great coming out of a haunted lighthouse or similar. Will post results when finished.

These are so cool...I tried once with a red pen laser, too weak to even see...next year I may do a green one. Very nice.
