For those of you who use a projector in your haunt (Grim Grining Ghosts, Madam Leota, etc...); What techniques do you use to hide your projector?
Would love to see pics / videos.

Precisely my problem as well! How can we get more people to notice this question?

I built a corner fence column out of mdf and put a shelf in it. It has a removable 2" thick foam board cap on it (held on with super duper strength velcro). I put a hinged door on the back. I also drilled a hole for the projector lens in the door and drilled a hole at the bottom for the power cord to go in and the speaker wire to come out of. My tombstone peeper is sitting on top of it as seen in the still capture from the youtube video below. You get a better look at it around the 1 minute mark.

I wouldn't spend too much time trying to fix the skeleton's jerky movement.
I think it's kinda creepy, so...that's good.

I don't have a projector for my haunt yet, but I went to a haunted house that used a casket with a hole in the back to hide it in. They also hid speakers in the casket.
Stuffing a projector in a tree would also be a way to get it out of view. I plan on building some sort of cocoon man and putting the projector inside that once I get mine."The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper" - Eden Philpotts

I have never actually seen a set up like this in person. After seeing them on youtube, I can't help wonder how trick-or-treaters don't see the beam of light streaming from the projector. Maybe there isn't one? But I would think the light on the projector itself would show. Also, if you have people walking in front of the pumpkins, how do you prevent them from blocking the image?
I'm going to post another question about how to do a high quality pepper's ghost. I saw one on Youtube of a little girl playing a piano that was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Check it out. (above)

That is really fantastic. Beautiful job. Your faux brick and stucco work looks very familiar .... do you have your haunt posted on Youtube? What is your projection scene? What do you project onto? I would love to see it if you have a link to it.
I was going to do singing pumpkins. I have been a longtime admirer of Dave Bates (Youtube). I could be wrong, but I think he got this craze going back in 2005. His original display is awesome. He filmed himself wearing a glow in the dark skeleton suit and also his family pretending to fly like ghosts and then he edited it so that the skeleton and ghosts hop from one part of his house to another. It's the best. His pumpkins are cool too because he and some friends perform their own little barbershop quartet singing in the recording which is a nice break from the usual singing pumpkin numbers. He sells some version of it which i might buy from him.
