So my friends, after all the help, amazing tutorials and of course Terra ;-)! I decided I felt brave enough to tackle making my own tombstones!! So today I have been shaping, scraping, sawing and painting :-)
First on my list is the long legged Jeb tombstone from the haunted mansion! I plan to pain on the epitaph and I'm making jeb out of clay as we speak
So here she is after the first coat of drylok!!
Tell me what you think :-)

nice start you have there......did you physically shave off all the areas to get your "raised" areas? or did you apply a 2nd thin layer of foam to get that effect?

You are too funny. Happens every time, just when you think you have it, someone comes along and suggests something else. Good idea for next time to add pieces but your shaving turned out pretty good.

Awesome job Darth Sparrow! Love the tombstone! Looks awesome so far! The spider sculpt looks great!! Dig your name too.. Two of my favorite Trilogies! (Well, Star Wars isn't a Trilogy anymore, but that's a whole 'nother topic! and I hear there is another POTC movie coming along, but you get my point!)

Great start on the tombstone. Don't feel bad, I always do it the hard way first. then I see the big picture or the blatantly obvious is pointed out to me and I go...DUH!

Nice spider. She will look totally cool on there.

Very nice work. Lots of detail. Is Drylock a powder cement of some kind?

Looks great! You put in a lot of hard work on that. I did the Haunted Mansion "people headstones" this year, never thought of doing the pets. Maybe I'll add some next year.

Can't wait to see the rest!
