I'm new to the forum, but I really enjoy reading and seeing your ideas, props, etc... I'm extremely new to this and I'm coming to find out that the best props are the one's you do yourself... only problem for me is, I already bought most of my props from spirit before finding this forum...

Now I have a bit of a problem... I have more than a handful of zombie babies from spirit with very few ideas on how to incorporate them into an original haunt without just throwing them on a lawn and having it overdone...

I kinda bit myself in the butt b.c. I fell in love with how they look and didn't think on how I was going to use them all... again, a big newbie mistake...

I'm up for any and all suggestions... thanks in advance for all responses...

I don't think you'll find many people on this board who would argue that having too many props is ever a bad thing ;-)

I know the ones you're talking about. Maybe have a witch in a rocking chair reading a story, with all of the zombie babies sitting around her? Animatronic witch would be awesome...

Depending on your haunt, landscape and home there are a number of things you could do.
If you have a graveyard playground in the front . You could build some swings, teeter totter, merry go round, tricycles, add kids toys, rattles, pacifiers.....
If you have a front porch you could design a zombie nursery scene, blankies, diapers, crib, change table, basinet. Kids love puppies and kittens. Perhaps find some used stuffed animals and corpse/zombifiy them.
    Hope this helps.
When storage is a concearn, put your monster props under the kids beds.

    Daycare for the Undead?
    The Little Zombie Rascals?

I would have them eating or ripping one of the Muppets heads off, preferably Elmo.

I love the ideas so far... I'm searching on Craiglist now for an old crib and run down toys... I'll be going to Lowes later to start a project for my swing and possibly see-saw... thanks a lot! Keep them coming...

DeadTime Stories. Do like zombie Daycare in a graveyard. Have signs around with the names of different nursery rhymes but in a haunted/scary fashion. Like Little miss muffet sat on her tuffet eating her brains away. When along came a ghoul sat down beside her and said "BRAINS". Stuff like that.
