    I am planning on using two treefx to create a lightning effect this year. I am just kinda stumped on where to position the photofloods outside. Idealy i would like the graveyard to be illuminated by the bursts of light, however I have no trees in my front yard so not sure where to set the lights. Also rain can be a problem in my area. any suggestions would be extremely appreciated.

    those word work but what is the best placement for lights to have a realistic effect. like mounting one bulb on each corner of my roof? or on the grass aimed towards the house?

    I mount my photofloods on the gutters at the corners of the house. You can see them in this pic:



    There's two reflectors at each corner - one white bulb and one blue bulb. I also use two of the Lightning FX boxes.

    Otaku the info you provided me with was exactly what i was looking for. Just wish there was a way to get this set up waterproof some how. By the way any video of your setup in action? would love to get an idea of the overall effect.

    GassHog- your right skull and bone have great layouts, just nothing on lightning unfortunately unless i totally missed that section
