I rebuilt my bottomless pit again this year. I had used rope lights several years ago, but I did not like the way they stood out. This year I toned it down and made them more integrated with the pit. I also made my pit a bit lighter in weight and easier to handle or move around. You will not really see the outside of it during halloween display so I did not spend a lot of time on it. It will be displayed laying over at a sharp angle supported by a hay bale and surrounded by loose hay. Here is my new bottomless pit.

I like the idea of making it look more like a tunnel. Great job on the integration. One day, I'll get off of my butt and build one. I like those.

Very nice. Would be interesting to use one of these in an actual hole somehow. Or in the side of a house, maybe where a basement window is available?

Really nice creative project! Can you set it into a prop wall?

I'm cheap, so I just use one of these:

Now that you have mastered a tunnel light, the next step up would be to build a "Pepper's Ghost" illusion!

That would be a great idea if I had such an area available. We don't have basements in Florida. They would all be under water. LOL Wow, then the bottomless pit would look really cool.

I have no place in my haunt that I could use a PG. But they are really cool effects.
