I'm looking for whats known as a pumpkin gutter. Here's a picture. I really don't want to order one. Me and the Old Man made one last year, but it bites and binds and kicks off the side walls. I hear this one works much better. Anyone know where I can find one? Walmart or anything like that?

honestly, i think that is a specialty tool so you're most likely going to find it ina specialty store with a specialty price. Good Luck.

I found a website selling it:
    http://www.getcarvingquicker.com/
But I have never seen one in the stores. The website does list a few stores in some cities that do carry it. Don't know if you're close to any of them.

Hmm. I'll keep an eye out as it gets closer to Halloween. Maybe my local pumpkin patch when I go out there. >_< Thanks for the quick replies.

I've seen different sizes of similar units in the paint section at Lowes...that kind of looks like a re-branded paint stirrer.

Right, I've stumbled upon paint stirrers and got all excited thinking I found a bunch. Unfortunenately I don't have Lowes, I've got Home Depot and Rona. Peavey Mart too, I guess.

Read this in another thread in another section, Zombie Pumpkins sells them.

Looks like their shop isn't open right now but will be soon.

Not sure what the price is but if you do a LOT of pumpkins then it's worth it.
