    Default Do i need to weather proof Jute Netting? – 09-20-2010,11:11 AM


    Not sure how many of you incorporate jute netting into your display but this is my first year. I'd like it to last for years afterwards so i am wondering if i have to do anything to it to make sure it lasts for a few years.

    I have used it on my barrels for the past two years and it seems to hold up just fine. It does tend to fade a bit, but I don't mind that as my theme is a Haunted Pirate Ship and it fits right in.....

    Here is a shot of the netting on my barrels. The netting on the far right was new last year and the ones on the left side are two years old...

    (I am the good looking fellow with the mug o' Rum....!)

    The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....
