Thread: Random triggering mod for those cheapy strobes?

I trigger several Chauvet SRC10 750W strobes with lightening sound effects audio signal and it is great. But I also have a bunch of those cheapy 7-15 watt/$5-$10 strobes that I like to use for room effects in walkbys, etc. But nothing is more lame and monotonous as a strobe flashing at a steady rate.

I was wondering if anyone has ever done a mod to these cheapy strobes to make them flash randomly, or triggered them from another source? Best I have done is to put 2-3 of them on one space and set them for different flash rates to get some random lighting. I'm an engineer and love tinkering with circuits, but also love it when someone has already figured it out!!

Yeah, I'm all over this idea too.
