I got this beast head off Craigslist for 40 bucks which is a steal considering the tag said like 120.00 ...anywho, I was trying to come up with a body that would look good for him, like a spider body or maybe a scorpion? I really don't want the "person" figure, he is too cool for that! lol Would love to hear some ideas on what to do with this guy!

Holy crap, I thought it was part spider when I saw the first pic.
I say go spider all the way, static or moving, it will work either way.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

Thanks all! Thats what I thought too...the spider body and possibly attach the head with a black flexible drain pipe like you would use to drain water away from your house, like gutters. To give it the look of a snake like neck? I would love to be able to make the head/neck bobble somehow...anyone have any ideas how to do this? If we used a spring the problem would be keeping the head from just facing downward from the weight of it. If anyone has some good links for large spider building please send them this way. I have seen a few on the forum and know how to do the legs but I would love more ideas on how to do the body. No time for ordering beach balls sadly...our stores have no pool stuff left at all...go figure, its pool weather here until October or later. Right now I found a really large thick piece of cardboard and cut out a round shape and started to build it up using crumpled newspaper and tape. Its taking shape but without using resin and such... Im thinking papier mache, then celluclay? I just want the end result to be pretty rounded. Ideas? Thoughts?

It is! It has the legs coming out the back of the head! lol they look like a cross between spider & crab legs. The legs on the head do have bendable wire in them so you can pose them to an extent but it is still too flimsy to stand the head up on the legs by themselves. Yeah I would love it to be animated , but I think static for this year and plan on animating it next year.
