I made this scarecrow head today i'm not sure if i'm happy or not yet.
what do ya think? I'll be getting a better hat that was just laying around.

I think the eyes could stand to be a bit larger. And if the string used for the mouth (X) was darker, like black or brown, it would stand out better.
Anyway, nice job!

Lose the hat, agree with the poster above, use black or brown string for the mouth and maybe make it smaller. Two large X's doesn't look as good as several on a row. Then when you're done with that send it to me so that I can properly display... Err, uh, dispose, of it for you. Yeah, you wouldn't want to put that out, nope. I think the eyes look good the way they are, I wouldn't go larger. But, as you've seen, you've already gotten two different opinions on that. Personal taste, what looks best to you?

Get a straw hat, don't give up, I also made a scarecrow I was not happy with..

Looks preety darn good, I agree about a straw hat or different hat and also about the darker color for the mouth and more stitches. I think the eyes size are good but I would creep it out just a little bit more and put one eyeball in there staring out at passersby.

Hey if you don't want it I would love to display that in my yard. Once you get a new hat it would look scary fierce.
