I am trying make a Grim Reaper fly back and forth across a pond on a zipline. Any ideas on how I can do this with and NOT have to stand there and pull it myself?

If it were me doing this I'd set up an Axworthy set up for this prop, it will probably be your best bet.

Or buy one of those $10 "Flying Ghost" thingys. Remove the cheesy ghost from the mechanism and install your reaper on it.
Only drawback is that the prop is sound activated.

Yep, I was thinking the bicycle wheels or axeworthy idea also.

I also vote for the axeworthy idea, BTW how heavy is your reaper?

I redid mine to make the ghost scarier and used it a couple of years. Past two years I don't think I used it.
It works good when it's moving, but it takes a loud sound to get it going. I have an older one, so I by-passed the sound sensor to make it run continuously. Works great, but eats up the batteries very fast!
I see the box they come in has gotten a lot smaller. I don't know if that means the ghost has changed or not.
You should pull it out and experiment with it.
