This year I decided to "X" all my windows with that yellow "DO NOT CROSS" tape. I also found (at Walmart) "HAUNTED HOUSE" and "DO NOT ENTER".

I would like to know what is the best (and MOST stay-put) way to put the tape up. Do I tape it to the actual window or the pane? What type of tape?? Duct tape???? My house is brick so I don't think any type of tape will work on that, so I'm guessing it'll have to be on either the pane or the window.

    All suggestions will be useful!!!

You should try some doublesided foam tape. I think it is made by scotch. We use it all over the house. Duct tape will stick but almost too good I have had some brick come off with it

I used the Scotch indoor/outdoor mounting tape. It's double sided foam tape. Rated for 5lbs. Labeled super heavy duty. I used it to put 1/4" plywood "boards" across my windows. Held great and came off pretty easy. I bought a 50' roll at Lowes for I think $7.

Double side scotch tape like this product will work too:

It's invisible and will hold light weight plastic "Do Not Cross" tape perfectly right to the glass. Taping it to the glass will also allow you to cover more window area with your decoration. Removing the tape from the windows afterwards is a pain, so plan ahead and put a tiny piece of Saran wrap under one end of each tape piece so you'll have a tab to pull it up later.

Thanks guys!! You always come thru. I have the 2-sided tape, as I scrapbook - never thought of using it for the tape for my windows, tho!! The "foam-y" tape sounds good, too.

42 days left people!!!! GET CRACKIN!!!
