Hey guys, I need something to go on each side of my driveway to welcome in the kiddies for halloween night. Any ideas? I thought of one tiki torch on each side, and I also saw some giant zombie hands at party city, but both seem a bit tacky. Do you have any suggestions? Looking to make it look like a grand entrance without a do it yourself project.

I guess it would have to depend on what the theme of your haunt is. I do a Haunted pirate ship theme, so I built a bamboo archway over the entrance of my walkway and then I lined it with Tiki torches....

    Bamboo archway:

Night shot with the torches lit:

Thank ye matey, from the bottom of me scurvy heart......"One Eye'd" Mick

The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....

Depending on how crafty you are, you could build some large columns with lanterns or fire pits on top. But I guess that would depend on budget and time. If you have a wide driveway, bigger columns would look better but that also entails more money and even more time. Theme is definately something to take into consideration too. Unless you're like me and you have multiple themes and an impulse buying problem.

I'd say it would have to be something that lights up. Maybe some lanterns or cut our pumpkins with candles inside mounted on a table to give them some height. You'll get a better projection of light that way.

That retaining wall is is a marvelous canvas to create something with. Line the top with luminaria. Drape the wall with a few of these:

You can hide an aminatronic sound and light Halloween prop atop the wall to create an eye level startle.

Also; that low wall would help contain fog for a very effective display. Get a remote control Mini Fogger and place it where it will shoot fog down the path.

I'm thinking a couple of carved funkins with LED lights in them on some columns would be good.
