We went to finally Spirit in Ottawa (open today) with 25% off coupons and we told ourself, we won't get anything this year, but just in case, let's go see...

CRAP!!! Look what landed in my hand!!!!!!!!!!

We got the Lurching Vampire. He is amazing! He jumps at you, eyes and mouth opens and lights up, let a scream out, very cool!!!

the Rising from the grave Zombie. Not bad, the sinchroning if off with the voice, but he is still a good scare. I paid 40$, he is not worth more than that. If he ever breaks down, he is still makes a great ground breaker.

and 4 cemetary gates for the main entrance.

When I saw that vampire in the store I was half and half on it. I liked the concept of it being full size and that it jumps forward nicely. Very cool. I was not liking the crazy scream it does and the cost. I think the price is just too high for the clacky mouth (should be a seamless mouth IMO) . If I see it alot cheaper Im all over it, but Im not cool with full price (They said $250 US).

i went to our massive spirit store and honestly i was not impressed with any of the props..i mean some were interesting but none that were very impressive...i left disappointed lol

Love the gate...i want one.No spirit store unless i drive 2 hours....

That is the best looking riser I have seen.You are right if it quits it will may a great gb.

I jumped too and saw my huband look startled when the vampire guy got us within his sites. I think he's a great prop. I was so not expecting the lung forward.

by any chance did they have the clown with banner saying carnival of horrors ? and also the animated witch spell book and the animated pumpkin ?

Have to agree. I'll give our store the benefit of the doubt and figure they're still setting stuff up. I know the manager from years past and she was showing me some of the new stuff. THey didn't have the Demonica set up so I told her it might be a good one to have on display. They did have the lurching zombie and my son was standing really close to him and it hit him in the head. LOL!!
Very few masks, and the latex props are all remakes or stuff from years past. Didn't see anything I had to have.
