I am curious. Does anyone have any feedback to give on Par 38 LED Floodlights? I need to use Red White and Green. I used Blue two years ago and the color flaked off, mind you, this is for my Nightmare before Christmas display for the Christmas season, I am worried that I would crack a regular floodlight due to cold rain etc... I heard that they will crack, I used one the whole xmas season and all that happened was that the color flaked off. I want to know if the Par 38 LEDs are bright enough, they arent cheap, bout 35 bucks apiece, so if you have use or do use these, I would love to hear from you. Thanks Ya...

I have the 38's. 3 green, 3 blue and 3 red. They are very bright and make the painted color ones look inferior. The color looks more dramatic and vivid. Although one of my green bulbs broke during shipment I will never look back. Buy some you won't be disappointed.

I also use par 38 incandescent bulbs. However I buy the heavier duty ones, in clear then I use transparent glass paint on them to make the colors. I use blue an clear ones for my lightning effects for Halloween and Green and Red ones for Christmas.
This is a link to the type I use.
