Hi! I probably have a really stupid question, but I can't find the answer anywhere. Has anyone ever used a drywall mixture (monster mud) to make props? ( Use it to cover styrofoam, etc). After it hardens, can it be out in the rain? I really want to make another crypt this year, our last one bit the dust, & it would be so much easier & cheaper to use the drywall. Thank you very much![]()

Hey Dreamcatcher,
I made a couple over the winter using cement-all. It worked out really well. A while back I made a vampire using drywall plaster and he got moldy after a season.

I was wondering do you use any kind of sealer when you put out your props? I think that will prevent any kind of damage to your props. Just a thought.
The only downfall of Halloween is it only happens once a year.

What kind of sealer would you use? We usually make everything out of wood, but we just can't afford it this year.
