I am on the verge of doing some more tombstones. Scored a boat-load of blue foam from the trash at a construction site.
Hauling out my dremel and dreading the inevitable coating of blue foamy lint that will undoubtably cover me from head to toe.
Tried Static-guard, tried holding a vacuum hose while I carved, nothing seemed to help. It was like beachsand and buttcracks.

Any ideas on how to keep the Blue Menace under control? Last time I got some on my *eyeball*... and I was wearing safety goggles!
Do not want to suffer a repeat...
    Thanks!

uggh. I feel your pain. It would almost be bearable if it didn't pick up that static charge and cling to everything.

I go with a shop vac, hold the end real close to where I'm working with the dremel. For longer jobs I'll go by the open end of the garage and add a big fan behind me to help blow the dust out.

X-Acto Knife...that's what I use and the clean up is very easy...plus I'm not covered in foam scrap afterward....

That's the biggest reason I went with Hot Wire Foam tools.....Couldn't stand the mess and that solved the problem.....ZR

Ive used the vacuum/shop vac near the tool in the past. I built a hot wire last year just have not used it yet.
Its the most HORRIBLE time of the year. , I apoligize in advance for any misspelled words.
