This year the TOTs can sit in the electric chair to take a picture and might get a little bit of a "shock" if you see what I'm getting at.

I'm using a old sander mounted under the seat.... got the main part finished today and here are some pictures of how I did it. Next step will be working on the new shocker cap that will be suspended above them. Then the whole thing will need a new paint job with the high gloss black paint. Used flat black last year and think the high gloss would look bitchin'!!!

    Comments and suggestions are welcome.

We thought about using our electric chair as a photo op for TOTs this year too... but were worried it might be too "extreme" for beggars night? Normally it would be inside our haunted house, but since we're not doing it this year we want to decorate scary without causing any problems in our new neighborhood...

How right you are! Mine has a vibrating seat similar to Firefighter's and the women LOVE it!
They don't want to get out of it!

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to comment on this topic.
My wife made me put the sander on the back last year for this exact reason!!!!!!!

    Serious question though....

Does anybody think that just having a small square of sheet metal covering the sander might be a bad idea? I'm begining to wonder if it might "give it away" so to speak. Where as if a bigger piece of sheet metal covered more of the seat it might not be as obvious.

    Thoughts?

Yea, I think a bigger piece of sheet metal would be less obvious, but even easier, why not just lay some dark colored cloth on top of the seat and staple it down?

UGH!!!!! I just shattered the back of one of the silver skulls I have on the tops of the back posts of the chair while I was moving it. The ONLY place I've ever seen those are at Walgreens and last year they didn't carry the silver kind.
