Has anyone ever used one of these ultrasound foggers in their haunt. I'm considering using this as a ground fog that has unlimited fog juice (Water). The effect looks like it will work pretty good, but just wanted to see If anybody has ever seen or used them before. This is the biggest one I could find and vaporizes 6000ml per hour.

I love my ultrasonic misters, and I use a few in my yard haunt. Very useful for a cauldron or swamp Beware of the moisture though. They splatter and the mist settles as condensation on any cool surface.

I don't use mine near anything that can't get damp and I don't use them near flooring that would be slick if wet. The last thing I need is to short out half my display or cause a slip-and-fall on the big night!

I have one of the smaller units I plan to use in my small water feature in front of the house. I had it in a bowl in my work area all last year just for inspiration and it works well.

Has anyone ever used one this large. I plan to use it outside so the moisture shouldn't be an issue. I was wondering if I add some glycol to the water if it would stay suspended in the air longer.

Halloweenhouseparty, thanks for the video, that was one of the videos that sparked my curiosity about using a larger unit in my haunt. The one in the video is a 5000ml per hr humidifier. I sure hope I'm not wasting my money on something like this. I'm hoping the money I save from not using the fog juice will make up for it down the road.

I too was curious about the large units. I found a 6500ml unit for$197 including shipping. I was wondering if I could put it in my spa using a buoy. Also, how much fog is 6500ml.

As to the glycol question I came across a thread where someone found that their mister would shut down if glycol was added to the water. Didn't damage anything, just shut it down after a short time of use.

I have one of the small misters and one year I added food coloring to the water, as I also had a fountain pump in use, and the misting unit shut down. As soon as I replaced clear water the unit started functioning again.

You had asked how much fog is 6500ml. If your asking just how much liquid it would be equal to in gallons then it's 1.72 gallons per hour.

I'm guessing you're asking for volume of fog and I think it's roughly 50 cubic inches per min but my calculations could be off.

This is why I love this forum. I never knew such a thing existed!

Would it work in a saline pool?
