I'm making a StalkAround & I'm having trouble finding a over sized mask, OK I don't have the money, but what I do have is a can of Great Stuff. How do I but it into something like a small trash can & not have it stick? If I spray it with something, it will mess with the paint. Other then Brown Paper i can't think of anything that might work. Dear Friends, Romans, County Men, Any Ideas.
    Thanks.

I know small amounts of great stuff peals off of aluminum foil. If there is a large quantity of great stuff, there's a chance that some will stick, or tear when removing.

    Perhaps wax paper?

I've used aluminum foil as a release agent on bucky skulls. Wrap skull in AF, then paper mache. The AF doesn't stick to the skull. Some aluminum peals off the paper mache, but I don't try to remove it since it's not seen anyway.

AF is good in that it takes the exact shape and most of the detail of the original.

Sorry I can't guarantee, it will work.

Are you going to carve the great stuff when done? If so, line the can with plastic wrap or paper.... you can then just cut it way.
If you don't carve it, the plastic wrap will be mostly invisible. I make a very thin paper mache pumpkin but got SICK of the paper mache, so I sprayed foam over it. then carved the foam... You could spray it over something like a beach ball.

If I build it, will they come ?

Wouldn't it make it hard for me to paint? Cooking spray I would think has oil & if I use Acrylic paint thats water based. Now you see my dilemma. I think maybe wax paper. I want it as clean as I can get it for painting & carving I'll want as much of the foam as I can get & I don't want to be hacking stuff I used to keep it from sticking off. Maybe I'll line up different things Paper, Foil, etc & use a little to see how it works. It is foam after all & all I'll need is enough to make a bigger head then mine. I'll need a bigger can then.
