I just purchased a FCG. I am thinking of using an outdoor 10 x 20 Yard canopy as part of a mausoleum.
I only need to see the front facade so I was thinking of building a nice foam and plywood facade to place on the end of the canopy.
I would only use approx 1/2 of the length of the canopy to be approx 10 x 10. Instead of putting the white cover on I would use a black tarp to cover the top and sides.
I would also make sure that the canopy frame is well anchored.
I would also have to fashion some rafters to hang the FCG.
I have also seen the thin vinyl rolls of imitation stone walls if need be but I don't think I will need it for the sides.
Do you think this would work????
What are your thoughts?
Thanks

I use to live in a place that had a 60 foot drive way, so I actually had 3 10X20 feet car ports I purchased at Costco! They worked decent for a walkthrough haunt, but I'm sure you could use it for your needs..
I too disliked the white covers, so I bought milled sheeting in black.. It comes in a huge roll, but the only bad thing is it is glossy black, so light reflects too much :P I don't have any pictures of said setup, or I'd post those!
As for hanging the ghost there are metal pipes running along the top and some fasterns for horizontal strength on the side.. I'm sure with a little imagination you could just use bailing wire or something to hold the FCG up from the internal structure!
The driveway actually had a built in car port out of wood and it was attached to the side of the house, so I installed the canopies under that and attached my Facade to the front, but I'm sure you could rig something to work in front of yours without a structure like I had to secure it to!
