    Ok - need help - got a few late 90's ac delco motors - only problem is there is 3 prongs atop the motor and 6 down on the base of the gear housing. What prongs activate the high and low and ground (common) to make these work? Any help is appricated. Thank you....

    You need to remove that piece and below you will have two simple wires you can connect to a power source. I use a battery charger and a dimmer switch to control the speed. Works great on my rocking granny.

    I love a good puzzle!

    I found that this wiper motor looks very similar to the ones you have:
    http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/199...per_motor.html

    Then I searched for 1997 Chevy Monte Carlo wiring diagrams and found this:
    http://www.autolib.diakom.ru/CAR/Che...GRAMS/9641.pdf

    So it looks like the three pin connector is your motor connections:
    A = High Speed
    B = Slow Speed
    C = Ground

    You should be able to use a ohm meter between the case of the motor and the pins to determine which is C and then infer the other connections from there.

    The other connector is the parking switch and intermittent wiper electronics.
