So I build a cool Slamming door about 5 years ago. Here is what it looked like:

For my 2010 haunt, I wanted to step it up a bit and make it CRAZZZYYYY

I stripped down an old power wheels and yanked the motor out. hooked it to some strips of metal ( i learned the hard way that wood explodes under such pressure here and attached them to some small pieces of plywood ( that look like doors ) as a test to see if i could make this thing super scary looking...

What are power wheels?

Power wheels are a brand of kids toy that is like a super slow motorized car. Usually for ages 2-7.
The kid sits in a toy sized car and presses the gas button to go.
The motor in this thing has tons of torque and runs off a car battery. I just added a battery charger as the power source and tried the different settings.. I got crazy fast speed out of the motor and with some chains screwed on, the slamming doors really scared ppl.
