Thread: sun jar and one hell of a dollar tree find

hey don't know if anyone has posted or found this at their dollar tree but i has ALOT of potential. its some kinda LED crazy lamp, found it in the light isle. also my first sun jar minus the need for sun and add the need for batterys.

If the LED light you bought has fiber optic strands that fit in the top of the base then I did mention it and posted a pic of it maybe under the shopping thread or the Dollar Tree thread a few weeks or so back. I was thinking of using the fiber optics for something else and didn't give the base too much thought however. The one I bought had color changing lights that could be made to also stay on one color also. Sure looks like the same base.

Looks good for a "sun jar" still in need of a sun!

I discovered that too and was thinking of what I was going to use them for. I liked it set to the green color and when you take the fiber optic strands off it makes a great green light that I was maybe going to use to light behind a prop or something. Glad I'm not the only one who found those great things

I have ABSOLUTELY NO idea what I'd use that for but it does have some great potential. If its not too expensive I'll have to buy one or 6... lol.
