Almost finished with my grim reaper prop. He's made mostly from stuff I had on hand: the base to an oscillating fan, wooden dowels, squishy padding from inside a couch cushion, wire, duct tape, and paper mache(for the hands). The skull I got in a box of skulls from an auction. The scythe is from Value Village that I painted silver instead of white. I had the black costumes already, and i used 2 packages of creepy cloth from the dollar store. I have a red LED spotlight to go inside the head. Total cost: around $15. Still needs a bit of tweaking before the big day.

Life is too short to not do what makes us happy, keeps us sane, or both.
