Thread: FCG Skull Head - Opinions Needed!

Hi all -

I wanted to make a new head for my FCG instead of the traditional "Victoria", so I'm trying to alter a Sally's wig head into a skull for this year. I AM NOT ARTISTIC - so please keep that in mind. I've used my dremel and hollowed out the features I think should be cut away. I plan on painting the hollowed portions in black and making the skull head stand out more. The teeth are just going to be done with paint. This is my rough start - any opinions for changes? I'm not trying to make it too heavily detailed since it's seen from about 15 feet away....

I think it's looking good. Can't wait to see the finished product!

I think it might look better if you shaved down the left and right sides of the jaw? If that makes sense? The mandible area. That's just my opinion. Other than that I think it looks great.

I did that a little more last night - I'll have to post another set of pics. It's so hard to NOT go overboard and take too much away.....

great use of the wig form, I like it

It's looking great, but I think Sid is right. If both sides of the lower "jowl" areas were trimmed a bit, it would look better.
