Thread: How to hook up fogger timer to pop up sensor?

Okay so I did the fogger timer conversion for my pneumatic pop up motion sensor. The only problem is i am not sure how to set up the timer and sensor together. Do I plug the timer into the sensor and the solenoid into the timer or do I plug the solenoid into the timer and then the timer into the sensor? I have not taken everything out and tried it yet. But in my head I cant figure it out. Maybe if I get it all out and experimented. But any help is good. Thanks.

Not really sure what you mean because I can't visualize it. Your trigger should trigger the prop timer which has a routine I take it. Well the fog relay or hack should also run this routine. So it should be like this

Prop===solenoid + fog relay/hack===timer===trigger(motion sensor)

If it's a simple pop up then down the fog will spew until the timers done

If on a routine (up down down up etc) then each upward motion would trigger the fog assuming this is a single acting cylinder where the prop decends because of weight.
