So i got three buckies yesterday and when i opened up the boxes everything looked fine but once assembled and hanging i realized just how crappy they actually were. My spines are so crooked and messed up that i don't even know how to correct them. Normally i have to do some touch up work to my skeletons but these are almost beyond repair. Anyone else getting any really crappy skeletons this year or did i just get the lucky number? I can't really complain because they are 4th quality but the past 5 buckies i ordered were nowhere near as bad as these.

Well mine had the arms switched around, and most of the screws and nuts were loose. Spent a great deal of time tightening them and putting clear nail polish on them to lock them in.
We dont need a body bag, we need a bucket.............and a strainer.

Thats normal for a 4th quality. I have never seen spines so bent up.

i wish thats all that was wrong with mine. a little epoxy and your good to go. I can't seem to bend my spines back into place and i'm afraid if i use too much force i'll starting breaking pieces of it off.

Didn't they used to have a site on how to fix all the problems these things have? I remember it saying to put them in a hot bath to straighten bones but I sure don't see how that's possible. Good Luck!

My skulls were pretty bad too some years back. Check here for tips on fixing.

gah, I hate having to fix my buckys, the parts are usually misshapen and the skulls (especially) always have to be completely scraped of casting excess. I for one wouldn't mind an alternative skull to use aside from the bucky.

Bummer BN. I guess its just the luck of the draw. My Bucky this year had one floating rib out of place and the rest of him was classroom ready. Not only were all the tiny nuts, bolts and pins actually included in his bag, they included a couple extra. I almost felt guilty corpsing him up. FedEx, though, did deliver him to the wrong address.
Undead and loving it!
