Hi,

I've been looking for this book:
Tim Harkleroad's "The Complete Haunted House Book" to read more about doing the elevator illusion. All the places online that you can supposedly buy, don't exist or don't have it.

Does anyone here on the forum have this book? Or has anyone ever done this illusion? If so, would you please PM me?

Tim has talked about re-releasing his original book in the near future. He has a couple of others out, including one that's relatively new. Whatever you do don't even think about buying one from Amazon. A few years ago someone listed one on there and since it was the only one put a price of $100 on it. Others saw that price and have gone up from there. It's great information but not worth that price, especially with the advent of the internet.

As anubis pointed out, there are other instructions on building one. We have used a pallet as a base, framed it in plywood, and used a pallet jack to make it move. It took a person jacking the thing up and down all night, but it was cheap and incredibly scary.

I had already seen the garage of terror elevator but he didn't do the brick roller. I noticed that he reworked it a year or two later but that page isn't finished.
