I really need some good hands for some of my props this year, and I can't just buy the severed kind because not only are they pretty difficult for me to find, but when I have, they've been pretty expensive.

So, I'm wondering, have any of you made your own hands for your props? If so, let's see 'em!

But more importantly, does anybody have any suggestions on how I can make them? Maybe know a tutorial I could use for this perhaps? I'd really appreciate any help you can give me!

    Thanks!

Here's a site for making expanding foam skulls - seems like you could cast molds of hands instead of skulls and do the same thing...

Here are the hands I made using Wire, masking tape, tin foil and model magic( I would recommend using a clay that hardens though as mine are still soft, but its kinda cool ) and modge podge. They havent been corpsed yet so this is just the "framework". Hope this helps. If you want instructions id be happy to post that as well.
