A slightly darker yet "empty" area that needs some sort of quick throw together filler not meant for microscopic scrutiny?
These are far from perfect and need a slight paint job but is what I came up with after one too many trips to the dollarstore nearby. Lol
A bonus might be with the right little light snugged inside they might glow or direct a few select beams in the right direction. I haven't tried yet.

Go ahead and steal. All the skulls there cost me about 25 plus tax at a dollar tree. 20 big skulls, 3 bags of 9 skulls and a bunch of glue sticks left over from last year (I guessed at 2 bags probalby was more). I'm thinking about hitting them with some grey or brownish spray paint. Wrapping a bit of fake spiderweb on and one of those large 50in. spiders crawling up the backside.
I know a skull pile isn't a new idea, but I was a bit too tired to remember to seach for a previous thread.
6 skull base in triangle shape. 3 mid level. 1 topper. let gravity tellya where the contact spots are for gluing.

Looks great. Some paint and a little sculpting will look great. I also like the idea of lights inside them.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

hers a suggestion wrap thm in underlay that you use for hardwood or laminate flooring its a hites foam take tat and wrap it with clear packing tape enough to cover the skulls take a heat gun to the underlay and it will melt to the skulls like a layer of skin then take your paint itll look like a intoomed skull pile this is one skelly i made with that technique the more you take the heat gun to the underlay material the more it melts and maked holes and creepyness

Due to budget, time, and moving restraints, I'm not lighting them this year. But I still am doing sort of spider theme so I'm considering a light coating of fake web and cementing (from sticky fingers) a few of my smaller large furry spiders.
