NON glow in the dark fishing line?

I have a really nice flying crank ghost that I used last year with much success; however, I used black twine last year and the twine seemed to show up pretty well under the black lights I used. I also tried regular fishing line with the fcg, but the line glows with the black light.

Does anyone know if there such a thing as non-black light reactive fishing line? Or can anyone recommend a type of line/rope that won't show up under the black light? Remember, it needs to be able to handle a lot of friction and the weight of the fcg.

I've haven't used it, but I've seen some strong black plastic thread in the craft section of my local Walmart. Maybe that's what you need! Check out Walmart, or any Craft store.

I use fishing line and it doesn't glow. I think there are different types and some aren't reactive, but the only way you're going to find out is luck.

Embroidery thread might work - it's quite strong and shouldn't show up too much.

Look for Spiderwire. It's a dark green color and does not react to blacklight. Plus, it's hella strong!

I second the Spiderwire suggestion. Doesn't stretch, wicked strong and hides well in the dark.

I am a bass fisherman and spiderwire is definitely what you want. I used it on my props and it is very hard to break and hard to see too. It is a little hard to cut though.

I use Spiderwire also, but I have a cheap roll of regular fishing line from K-mart that doesn't glow at all under blacklight.
