    I am looking for low rpm motors. http://scientificsonline.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_3041860
    this site has some but are they good ones to use and how do one go about hooking them up to use. that is pluging them in a outlet.

    I use a lot of these motors for props--they are cheap and have quite a bit of torque:

    Then use one of these to power it:

    (Just cut the end off and connect the wires straight to the motor.)

    I order mine from Electronic Goldmine, only because I order so much other stuff from them. I also wait until their motors are on sale for $5.95.

    SkyDad--Here's a link to one of my tutorials that includes a way to wire up the motor. It's not hard, just a bit of soldering.

    FWIW,

    I noticed that the specs said that the motor was intermittant duty. That might affect the time it will continue to operate.

    Yea, I've always noticed that in Surplus Center's description, but those I've heard from that ordered them claim they run continuously.
    They look exactly like the ones I get from EG and I know for a fact they run continuously--I've built about 10 different props using those motors.
