Thread: Need help with a tiny detail that makes a scene

I am doing a pirate jail scene and need help. I have a skelly dog holding keys in his mouth-Standing in front of the jail cell with pirate skellys ...so close yet so far away. My ? is what should the skeletons be holding to tempt the dog to give him the keys?? I keep thinking a bone, but then I am thinking they have rope in their hands to try and get the keys from the dog. What kind of ideas would you use ? Thanks again

Bone came to mind too. Nothing to say that a piece of steak still wouldn't hold some interest for a skelly dog though. Or a box of Skeleton Dog Treats?

Actually I got a huge metal cage off of Craigslist, already rusted. It was perfect and 2 toepincher coffins and a million other tiny things all for $100 bucks. I couldnt have purchased the metal for that so I am good on the scene. I just want to set it up. Also what color would you use to light it? BLUE leds?

aww sweet deal. but blue would be cool for a pirate theme. but i use an orange light that looks great too

That was gonna be my suggestion too, one of the pirate skelly's own bones. But it'd hafta be something really obvious like a leg bone for the joke to work.
