Thread: ceiling fan help??

i bought a ceiling fan for a prop and i have a few questions... The wire for the light, which does that go to neutral or hot wire? [im using a normal plug] Also im not gonna be uising ground so can it just hang there?

The black and blue wire from the fan will go to hot, the white is your neutral and for safety make sure you hook up the ground.
