I have three witched and one of my witches will be a little different from the rest... this one I want it to represent a different kind of witch. But I am having a problem with the design... I looked up voodoo priestess, gypsy costume, witch doctor... but they just don't have the look I need.
The closest thing that comes close to my vision is the gypsy costume. I wonder if anyone has made a prop with a Southern Bayou witch theme in mind? I am interested of how this look was accomplished?
Any help or suggestions are more than welcomed.

Have you looked at the voodoo lady from the 2nd and 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean movies? Her name is Tia Dalma, and if you do a Google Image search you may find the inspiration you need!

I haven't made a voodoo prop, but I have seen some films in the Southern Bayou Voodoo framework, fictional and documentary. Most of them feature the practitioner in a solid white outfit as part of the purification process, including a white headwrap. Sometimes, they coat their skin in graveyard dust, which gives them an ashen gray pallor that's very creepy. Not sure if it'll work for your haunt, but it's what I've seen.

If you're going for authenticity, trentsketch's idea is the way to go.
