    Hello,

what to build a BBQ cooking a skeleton and need to come up with an idea for the fire logs. I have seen how to make the fire but need to come up with ideas on how to make the logs or other ideas that the flames are coming out of. Any ideas would be great.

    Thanks

You could char a few logs/wood and leave them slightly charred for a realistic effect. To make the logs look on fire, you could get a clear plastic and put LEDs on the inside, but with the outside painted the desired look.

You could also get a bag of river rock, and paint some of them a pale grey almost white. Paint some the same, but with a little orange and red hilights. Get a string of clear motion Christmas lights and coil them up underneath some red and orange clear plastic that is crumpled up. That will make a nice coal bed.

Have you seen LT Scares tutorial on "glowing" hot coals?
    This might work for you.

We actually did something similar last year, I took a dowel rod and put some fake gory heads from Spirit on it, I then hooked the dowel into a rotiserrie motor and had it rotating above our large outdoor grill. To make it more realistic I took the leftover scraps of wood from our build and charred a bunch of the 1 x 2's and made a fake fire pit, pipe a fog machine underneath and some orange christmas lights and you're good to go! It is amazingly effective

I would use something other then a skeleton. With a skeleton, there is nothing left to cook. Do you have any friends you could life-cast? Or mannequins you could pull a mold from?

I think a skeleton is a good idea gives it that someone already ate the flesh meat kind of feeling and uh oh i might be next.
