What is the correct theory of the vortex chiller? Does it go in low, raise thru the ice and then exit. Or does it fall down over the ice and the exit?
Has anyone found which way works better, does it matter?
I have read other posts but they all end up with people giving opposite info. Sometimes a person giving advice gets themselves confused within the same post.
Any good experemential input would be great. Thanks.

From my experience the fog can either drop down through the ice and exit -Or- it can pass through the ice and exit. Both give the same desired effect.
Also you don't really even need ice to make ground fog, you just need to make the fog more dense. Of course ice does not hurt to ensure that it crawls real good.
You can get the same basic effect with irrigation pipe seal at one end and no ice, if you want to go real cheap.
