Last year I made my own, and will probably expand on that this year, but I had to get a couple of these when I saw the price, and wanted to share ... most places I've found sell these at $50+ (I saw one place selling the victim for $120!!) ... these victims are only $20! And the larva balls ($15 for 3) are good sized - I received mine already, and the small one is the size of a regular/large balloon. Not a bad deal!

wow thats a really great price. I saw one at a party store last year and really wanted it, but alas I could not afford it. I saw a halloween special where they made there own by using a wig head and newspaper that was duct taped, covered it in muslin then wrapped in spiderwebs. I'll let you know how much the do it yourself one cost once Ive made it because you might have found the better deal

Yeah, I thought the store-bought ones were overpriced last year, so I made my own - VERY cheaply, as a matter of fact
But when I saw these, I couldn't pass them up at this price.
For the ones I made, I used some packing and shipping materials. I work in a warehouse, and some of the pallets come wrapped in a shrink wrap type material - think of it as super-sized plastic wrap. You know how plastic wrap sticks to itself? So does this stuff ... so I just took a bunch of it that we cut off the pallets, and molded into a human shape, then took a bag of the fake web and stretched it out, then rolled my shrink wrap person in it. The web also stuck to the wrap, and to itself, so it worked pretty good. Then I used white rope to secure him to the giant web. For the eggs, I blew up white balloons, rolled them in the web as well, and stuck plastic spiders to the outsides. Basic, but it was last minute and it was quick, cheap, and easy - and it got a lot of compliments!
Good luck with your project, I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Seems like a good price! I just made my own victim with a Michaels skeleton, but will probably be buying the shaking cocoon man from K-Mart for $30, unless I find it elsewhere for less!
