I would love to be able to create an alginate hand mold as well as a silicone hand. Both the mold and the silicone hand can be seen in these videos.



I live in the uk and would prefer not to order from overseas.

Would this work ok for the mold as well as the silicone hand. Also i noticed the guy in the video's uses "pigments". I can't find these anywhere, is there an alternative ?

I have had really good results with alginate molds, but I have never used latex or silicone with them, only plaster or clay, but I seem to recall that you can use silicone/latex with them. I would be interested to know how your creations come along! Good luck!
