I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to create a dark tunnel through woods. I get that black plastic, tarp, etc. could be used, but how would I build this, how could I have a roof. It wouldn't have to be very long or wide, just down a wooded trail. Help!

what about cuttin a bunch of branches and just making a dense tunnel. Or you could use alot of webbing stretched out and make a neat tunnel that way.

Could you do a reversed, suspension style setup using the nearby trees as anchors. Maybe use PVC/1x2 wood strip running longitudinally at each top corner(with plastic secured to it) and support this by rope to the trees. Maybe an occasional ground support for extra stability? Just a thought, potentially time intensive.

Little more info: this is the last site on the haunted trail, I want them to enter a room (will have to build that too I guess) that has roof and from their they enter the rabbit hole which I would like to be a dark tunnel with roof.
